  • What is PeakRN's cancellation policy?
    Cancellation Policy - Registration fees for all classes are nonrefundable. Changes to your class date must be made 3 days prior to start of the course.
  • What book do I need to purchase for fetal monitoring?

  • I have my fetal monitoring book from the last class I took, do I need to purchase a new one?"
    Yes you must purchase a new book. The Student workbook materials include the online CNE/CME/Feedback/Test information with the unique Student ID for participants to complete the online course feedback and obtain their certificate. The online form includes instructions on how to access the online platform, as well as the web URL address and a Unique Identifier Code preprinted under the scratch-off coating. The Student Material ID can only be used once and cannot be returned if the scratch-off coating is removed.
  • Why do I need a computer with video and microphone for Advanced Fetal Monitoring?
    Participation Policy - The online advanced fetal monitoring course requires active participation in order to receive full credit. Please ensure you have a reliable internet connection, functioning video and microphone, and an environment that does not interfere with your class participation. Credit for participation is at the discretion of the instructor.

Once feedback is submitted online, the system will immediately generate your certificate.   • What are the new intermediate fetal monitoring pre-course requirements?
    - Order new IFM course materials (7th edition) from Kendall Hunt after you have registered. Shipping times vary from 1-2 weeks. - Login to https://ce.awhonn.pesgce.com/ with student material ID (inside front cover of student workbook), course ID, and instructor ID to begin precourse work. The prerequisite course work opens 30 days before class and closes 2 days before the class at 11:55 pm EST. Example: If class is Monday, your precourse work must be completed by Saturday at 11:55 pm EST. IMPORTANT: If precourse work is not completed, students will be denied entry into the In Person course. - Sign AWHONN’s “Adherence virtual agreement,” view all recorded required videos, and complete the post test. You have 2 attempts to complete the post test successfully or you must retake the pre course prerequisites again with a new course number. Additional fees may apply.
  • Is there a post class exam for Intermediate Fetal Monitoring?
    Yes, there is a post test. You have 2 attempts to complete the post test successfully or you must retake the pre course prerequisites again with a new course number. Additional fees may apply.
  • What are the requirements for completion of the Obstetric Patient Safety Course?
    IMPORTANT Participant Requirements: You are required to purchase and complete the online prerequisite learning: CCOE Education Course through AWHONN's website for $120. Purchase materials here. AWHONN's CCOE Course include four modules: 1. Noninvasive Hemodynamic Function and Assessment 2. Postpartum Hemorrhage 3. Preeclampsia and Severe Hypertension 4. Sepsis and Septic Shock The online learning must be completed prior to attending the in-person workshop, ideally within 30-45 days of the workshop date. Confirmation Email & OPS Participant Code: After purchasing your online CCOE Education materials, you will receive a confirmation email from AWHONN that includes your OPS Participant Code/Student Code and instructions to complete the online modules. DO NOT LOSE THIS CODE because you need it for your evaluation and to obtain your CNE credits after the workshop. Your AWHONN confirmation email will provide you with a link to the AWHONN Learning Management Center to complete your prerequisite education. Student materials for the in person course are also included in your AWHONN confirmation email.
  • Where do I claim my completion certificate for OPS Workshop?
    To access your completion certificate click on the "Completed" tab in the AWHONN Learning Center.
